Marshmallow Clouds
2016Marshmallow Clouds was an interactive installation developed by Tangible Interaction, in partnership with artists from Ryerson University’s New Media program. The experience was developed to emulate the wonder of clouds. Marshmallow Clouds debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)’s digiPlaySpace, an exhibition focused on inspiring kids to engage with technology through art.
Set up at the entrance, the clouds reacted to the motion of people walking underneath by lighting up with whimsical patterns of soft, pastel colours. They were a huge hit with kids young and old, creating an awe-inspiring and magical mood for the atrium.
